Enjoy Life at a Beautiful Day
While I write this post I’m on holiday in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy. Here is a huge ski resort and I spend here now 2 weeks for skiing. Here you can make very interesting tours on skis through different valleys into different landscapes.

Today Tour
We started in Selva in Val Gardena, where our hotel is. First we went with the aerial ropeway up to the Passo Gardena. Then we skiing down to Corvara, up to Passo Campolongo. From there over Pralongia down to Armentarola. From there we took the bus up to the Passo Falzarego.
This was the first part of the tour. From there we were skiing down to Bai De Dones. This is very close to Cortina D’Ampezzo. Then we were skiing around the area of Cinque Torri. We enjoyed so much to skiing around there. A very stunning landscape.

You may now thing this was all. Oh no, this was only the first part of the day. After that we went up with an aerial cableway up to the Lagazuoi, from where we had a fantastic view over the Dolomites. We ate there our lunch in a mountain hut. From there we had a long downhill ride through an interesting valley.

About 1 km before we came back to Armentarola we came on plain. There was something really funny. Instead to walk to Armentarola you had to choose if you want drive by bus or if you let you pulling with a horse buggy. We choose the second option. And we had a lot of fun. After that we went back to Selva to our hotel with different ski-lift and chair-lifts.

Summary of the day
During the day we used about 35 lifts, we were skiing more than 50 km. We had the whole day sunshine and we had so much fun. We enjoyed this day. You may now think, this must be very exhausting. I thing for most people it is, but we love skiing so much and we are used to do such things. So for us it’s simply fun.
